I am an optimist, but I realize that it’s also essential to be a skeptic! By being this skeptic, I don’t allow myself to utilize my energy in a way that causes me to seek out those things I don’t understand and serve no purpose..
However, being this optimist permits me to look on the more favorable side of events and then EXPECT the most favorable outcome because it pleases me to do so, and I owe that reward to myself.
I am a person who embraces every given opportunity. Because of that, my success has been memorable; however, I learned early in life that no one could live without hope because life is void of vision when living a life of hopelessness. Therefore, we all must find a way to LIVE outside our heads where we do different things and see the vast hues that life offers. I often reflect on the idea of color within my life to see the vast difference that life can offer. Color is a vivid illustration of possibility, and when we see the options, we embrace the chance to CHANGE.
At my age, I’ve learned many lessons that impacted me greatly from any other decade in my life. Recognizing that my body was changing physically, I prepared my mind for the realities that lie ahead. Those younger years bring about the falsehoods that force us to feel invincible; nonetheless, I am grateful for the ‘extended age of opportunity’ where my thinking has kept up with the times surrounding me.
