A Kobe Bryant Tribute

KOBE

I see a website as your personal history contribution, so I now have the opportunity to create articles that will live on in the minds of many once I’m gone. Creating these articles that subscribe to current and relative issues that touched me the most is hopefully felt somehow by all. Therefore, it is time to remember the man, the basketball player, the businessman, humanitarian, and philanthropist, Kobe Bryant. Kobe, known to the world as just KOBE, died tragically and his precious young daughter, GiGi, in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020. Kobe’s accident and death rocked and stunned the world, leaving millions of hearts empty and missing beats. The shock of his loss looms a week later after this article was published and will always be a moment in time remembered and revisited forever.

Kobe and GiGi
Gone but not forgotten

The lesson behind his death is realizing how short life is to take anything or anyone for granted. That Sunday morning, after attending church with his family, praying together as he knelt to praise God for giving him the family he so loved will be a huge part of his legacy. He had his chance to hug his wife and children and left the church’s sanctity as one. As they returned home to leave for GiGi’s game, they said their goodbye’s and the traditional we will see you later, and that didn’t happen. In the blink of an eye or the time it takes for your heart to beat, he was gone; how sad but reflective we all should be about our own lives to model how he lived. So, stay prayerful and give all that you can to elect to live and interact with others. Tell someone today how much you LOVE them and spend every waking hour committed to something or someone.

Know for sure, as of this writing; this mysterious death is NOT over!
