Ignoring those things that are factual is your denial of what is real. Even though the realities in life are sometimes subtle, those subtleties can attack you before you realize it. In the absence of an accepted common sense factor, you are left cognitively naked. Your willingness to walk about emotionally nude speaks less to your integrity than it does to your embarrassment. Truth and reality differ from one person to the next. This fact depends on how and why people believe what they think. Our varied belief mechanisms take us through a litany of pre-disposed thoughts, all governed by habit and control, when we need to question what is considered practice and management. Reality can decide the outcome of any given thinking task.

Believe what you must, and ignoring the truth is a thinking ‘death sentence’ that stifles any semblance of thinking balance that allows your thinking navigation to guide you across the pitfalls of life. Believing as you do should not shut you off from the possibility of what-if because believing is nothing more than carrying around old ideas that have not worked. Wondering why the old plans are not doing illustrates the lack of not engaging an open mind. It’s essential to remain connected.
