PTSD Does Not Discriminate

Often, when the word trauma, or PTSD, is mentioned, the response reflects on someone who has served in the military and experienced war. However, that reflection doesn’t apply in all situations because anyone can suffer from trauma due to any unsuspecting event that can leave you empty, alone, and fragmented. Trauma is the repeated occurrence of an event that stays with you forever and is stored in your subconscious mind. This holding place of reference can rise at any time, affecting your behavior and your sense of security. You begin to question whether or not this same incident will happen again, leaving you in fear and doubt. Your mind is attacked as you desperately maneuver your way into a reasonable approach to rendering yourself safe. The only cure is no cure, as this identifies the shock to your psyche. The treatment only comes with your ability to manage the emotion plaguing you. This management style comes by way of discovering other ways to handle the trauma to stay away from the horrific effects that you have been victimized as you become a forever victim but not a prisoner! 

This victimization cripples you mentally as you become this puppet subjected to any emotional upheaval. The longer you allow the troubling effects of trauma, the worse it gets and the more removed from society you inevitably claim. Claiming your sanctity, attention to your healing must take place to subvert your agony and defeat. Trauma and PTSD are conditions that can affect anyone and can have lasting effects on your mind and your behavior. Trauma occurs when a particular event keeps recurring in your mind, affecting your behavior and sense of security. Fear and doubt can take over your mind as you struggle to find ways to keep yourself safe. Unfortunately, there’s no cure for trauma, but there is a way to manage the emotions that plague you. By discovering other ways to deal with the effects, you can prevent the incident from becoming a permanent part of your life. The longer you wait to seek help, the more disconnected you become from society and yourself. But there is hope! Immediate healing can subvert your agony and defeat. 

Lastly, don’t let trauma control your life. Instead, take control today and seek help to overcome the effects of trauma. Remember, you are not alone; there is always hope for healing if you become actively involved. Everything you have wanted is on the other side of fear!
