Suicide: An Emotional Relapse

Anyone who arrives at this point of consciousness finds themselves in a dangerous emotional state. The need to talk or seek counsel escapes that area of common sense and the only recourse left is the act itself. Over the years, clients that I have treated fall into similar physical and emotional removal categories. The test for these clients is to determine how serious they are about suicide by indirectly navigating their thoughts to communicate when these feelings of harm begin to manifest. When our emotions start to control us, our behavior is adversely affected once we have acquired the irrational thinking mechanism that prevents the ability to rationalize a defense to end our life. If the victim of this emotional crisis can be therapeutically optimized, his level of rationale will assist in determining future outcomes. The intent to optimize a select thinking regimen will benefit both the client and the therapist. Finding that path to recovery can be met over a period given the hands-on approach to determine the why of the behavior identified. With no one to talk to, arriving at a safe place is difficult. When the need to seek help is no longer an option, taking your life becomes that much easier.

The key to resolving such a condition is understanding what’s hidden within the subconscious mind. All things good and evil are stored here and are conveniently called upon repeatedly. These thoughts of harm become worse as the justification of the harmful act grows. For the victim to acknowledge the need for help is a huge step to finding alternative measures to successfully eliminate this thought of suicide. As a person who often thinks of suicide has entered the stage of hopelessness, his chances of carrying out his demise are evident. The source of intent to end your life must become the center-most objective to reversing thoughts of suicide and replacing those thoughts with a sound platform to deal with the problem directly. The direct approach to understanding suicidal ideations is to actively pursue the reason (s) behind the attempts. For sure, those left to grieve will never know the why of the act.
