Black Suppression – Black Defiance

Posted on 3 minute read

We have traveled from the centuries of defined slavery to Jim Crow and the Civil Rights movement and onto the White House as a race of people. However, those times in-between were still times of immense struggle, continued separation and indifference, and unadulterated hatred perpetrated by those considered to be ‘white supremacists.’

Legendary Bird Phoenix on a White Background

As the ‘white populous’ continue their plan of old to control by any means necessary, it has now reached the heights of dire desperation at the hand of white suppressors. This desperate move by ‘whites’ to keep blacks totally ‘naked’ is a disgrace against all that is just and considered this ongoing fight for equality, which no human being should rise against supporting the effort. The popularity of hate,  deceit, and greed are all instruments that propagate this malicious attack on another human being as the false trappings of ‘freedom’ are skewed by our oppressors’ actions. These oppressors are self-glorified by their egos and greed. But what is the real reason blacks’ hatred has reigned for so long? Is it the vile intent of whites to hate, or is the reason more deeply rooted in the continued execution of ‘white privilege?’

For blacks to be considered equal still isn’t supposed to be a ‘right,’ but yet it is still the plight of a people scorned and will be deemed to be valid contributors before and now. It is centuries of struggle that made us healthy, and at the same time, fashioned the concept of unshakable resilience. The endless time to persevere has been the undying legacy that our ancestors left behind through our resistance. However, this legacy is NOT that folly of dire persecution, but more of a testament of strength and courage removed from history.

There will NEVER be a doubt about how resilient we are as a people, but the scope of that attitude is why the fight continues. Is the issue about ‘black vs. white,’ or is it strictly about the ‘haves and the have-nots?’ This racial indifference is a serious question because racism is institutionalized and structured, and that reality should not take Congress’s action to reverse to make a change.

We all hear about Muslims supposed fear in this country but never hear about the oldest gang in this country, the KKK. Why is that true? Why aren’t the Klan’s actions even questioned even though wearing masks and body clothing made like sheets is not the clothing of choice? In its stead, the clothing worn is suits and ties, judicial robes, and police uniforms. With this in mind, how can justice be dispensed when those who write the laws and enforce the laws would suddenly become sympathetic to the misfortune of black people. Yet, through it all, we Rise!
