Our core beliefs, stored within our subconscious, are the same beliefs we grew to embrace. These beliefs became our lifeline to recall and revert to in most situations. We all believe what we do simply because that’s what we know and what we’re comfortable with acknowledging. As I apply this opinion to human behavior, I’ve grown to realize those contrasting thoughts followed by beliefs are healthy and necessary. I also learned that my well-being must come first in any given situation as I continue to travel the path to healing and forgive myself. In all I pursue, the positive of that situation or condition places me in control and no one else. When I question my worth, I also doubt the outcome of my pursuit. Placing a negative thought into action or thought of equaled dimension renders me a failure before I begin my step forward. So, what am I saying? I say that my past is my past, just as my mistakes can’t be undone. My only option or my only positive affirmation lies in my faith and commitment to myself.

Once I present these changes and contrasts to my subconscious, they become a part of the new me instead of the person I once was for too many years. When these changes find a resting place, they also find a behavior conducive to my environment and the vibrations within the universe connecting with my physical being. Again, what contrast means places a stamp on a state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association. The idea of two things being seen or placed close together with the obvious contrasting effect is the impetus to all that defines me. Therefore, I must become my loudest cheerleader and my most influential advocate for change.
