Love – Time – Death

Posted on 3 minute read

These three terms are relevant to most, but their priorities may vary. But for the sake of this article, I will begin with the meaning and concept of love. Love, and I am sure most of you agree, can mean different things. For many, love is associated with relationships that evolve into marriage, and, frankly, love forever is often compared to an insatiable appetite for passion. When we love, we cast fate to the wind by giving our all to someone or something. We tend to forsake all when we love, even to our detriment. However, not to love, not giving yourself to this passion, can be the worst thing you could ever experience. To unbearably think of loving someone is not always a guarantee that someone else will love you back, but to love unselfishly and without expectation is the most authentic testimony of what unconditional love is all about. So, love can hurt, make you smile, and make you sad. But knowing this as we move into this questionable emotion requires a thick skin and a keen understanding of who you are in your presence; therefore, love is the active pursuit that brings happiness, security, and family expansion.

The seasons of change. The seasons for life change.

Love as a concept is an abstract feeling that cannot be touched or seen. This warm, fuzzy feeling can arise in an instant and fill your life with bliss. This concept of love is about spending your life with someone who meets most of your needs and prevents you from judging. If the good outweighs the bad, focus on building on that good and making the best of any given situation. Without time, we lose the opportunity to experience anything, so use the time left.

Death, the ultimate, the end. The finale. In death, there is no more. All that you wanted to do is no more. The spring, summer, fall, and winter are likened to the evolution of life and its various upsides and downsides. We all travel through life trying to make the best of a losing hand, but we try to stay in the game to win. These living elements are realities, and there is nothing we can do about what is considered inevitable. No matter how hard we try, love, time, and death enter our lives, beckoning the question: what have you done?

Love is like a diamond. During the polishing stages of development, it reaches a plateau where its glimmer is awe-inspiring, and it hypnotizes the senses, leaving one speechless. Once this allusion has expired, you realize to continuously experience this feeling incumbent upon the individual to maintain behavior, automatically invoking that euphoria. The behavior is like a rollercoaster ride. The ups and downs prevail as the ride through life continues. How this ride ends either leaves you horrified or exhilarated and breathless. That decision is based on your life choices. The bottom line is it’s your call, and the choice is up to you.
