We are minimizing comfort levels! Are we too comfortable? Have we become lazy even with our thinking? Are we a people poised to take advantage of others, or are we a people prompted to giving back? Only you can answer these questions!
Giving back has been a part of my character for as long as I can remember. The satisfaction that I get back for helping others outweighs my desire to receive because I’ve been given so much. In giving, many people become confused because they play that card of giving to receive. To give without expectation pays in the end only due to your unselfish acts of kindness. As I try to approach life with all that I have, sometimes that isn’t easy because far too many people take consideration for granted. It will be those people who, over time, you desperately need to avoid.
Another successful seminar that illustrated the meaning of exacting comfort levels or not was my theme. It’s been my experience that too much comfort will birth itself to a high level of complacency. When we’re too complacent, our need to push forward becomes stagnant. That lack of action can be progressively damaging when your movement is less extreme, but it’s not heightening. Instead, remaining unproductive places you into a vacuum that sucks the life out of you when, in essence, you were born to thrive.
This demonstration, a symbol of construction vs. destruction, is the mental stimulus we all need. To waddle in mediocrity is like dying homeless and hungry.
