Proud moments for my mother are what I’ve lived for all of my life—having her attend my first book signing put a broad smile on her face and was humbling beyond words. To be an inspiration to anyone is calculable in terms of determination and willful pursuit.
In retrospect, selecting this photo reminded me, yet again, how important she is to me. For as long as I can remember, she has been there, providing support, wisdom, and patience—and God only knows how patient and encouraging she has been to me. For any kid, especially today, support is critical to growth and development. None of that can happen unless that particular person cares enough to CARE. As my life continues down my righteous path, I can never forget the support I received. Her legacy, my memories!
