The criticism of toxicity amongst many people, even those who don’t realize their contribution to the subject, is lackluster. They see themselves as perfect human specimens who pretend to be someone else. Toxic people can be harmful and hurt those who come in contact with them in all settings. Know that these personality types have issues; instead of tending to them, they would choose to make others miserable. This behavior makes them feel in control over you by manipulating how you think or respond, or simply trying to get attention. They may exhibit various behaviors, including manipulation, self-centeredness, dishonesty, and lack of remorse, while escalating their emotions and taking without giving back. They may even be defensive, stonewalling, and contemptible. It’s also good to know that toxic people may mask their negative traits by being charming or friendly; however, their behaviors may be a result of underlying feelings of low self-esteem, mental health conditions, or several other personal issues that could translate into bipolar behavior or worse. They thrive on taking over conversations by creating debates, even in casual settings. To occupy the mindset of a toxic personality can drain you by taking the oxygen from the air you breathe.

If they can maneuver their way into your mind, they can force your victimization and make you feel less than, where you question your sanity.

This personality type may suffer from insecurities that date back to childhood. This behavior is born from childhood experiences, which, over time, breed this personality type to overcome specific inadequacies in their lives. As the picture displays, these people seek ways to unlock your identity by shattering the lock of your well-being. The sanctity of your well-being must be protected at all costs; therefore, be who you are by mastering your progression and continuing to move forward.
