Being Calm Is A Skillset

Posted on 2 minute read

Remaining calm is problematic because it involves control over your emotions. Identifying those emotions is difficult, so begin with the one that brings the most torment. Staying calm is controlling thoughts that bring added pressure. This pressure comes from varied sources stemming from years of acceptance without any release. Before you realize what’s happening, those emotions control your behavior and outlook. For me, staying calm requires my attention towards those times that have proven the most radical periods in my life. Learning from those experiences provides a segway to redirect those emotional upheavals to another place and time. That other place and time are meant to generate a positive reinforcement that leverages positivity. Once your thinking rhythm sync, this positive approach channels your thinking acceptance. However, this change doesn’t happen overnight and requires additional training until your thinking habits find a different path of consistency.

Experiencing calm

In times of deep depression, many fall back to what they know and what they have grown accustomed to for far too long. As for me, my challenge today is managing these attacks of anxiety that leave me emotionally uprooted. These feelings of anxiety force an expanded layer of behavioral outlooks that are difficult to understand. While formulating a skillset or rebooting an existing skillset never utilized, steps to acquire behavioral patterns suggest a keen awareness that establishes you as an innovative mind activist and will prove rewarding if you employ your thinking abilities often.

Motivational truth. Mind and spirit cleansing reality worth the time and effort to transform old negative thinking concepts to new positive mindset practices. New Year-New Me.

Lexi

I used to have no problem staying calm. Now, this was from up until I was like 14. At some point, it felt like my mind would be racing even if nothing was happening. Constantly thinking about the future and overthinking. It makes me wonder if ADHD/ADD is something I should look into about myself. I cracked the code to stay focused when it came to physical work. Once I got into the habit of working out I would hate to miss a day. But academic tasks prove to be a little harder now to stay focused on. Deeper meditation will be one of my goals going forward this year.
