Much like setting human boundaries, [Spatial Integrity] is a necessary consideration for maintaining your physical and emotional safety. That space violation is the difference between being hit or doing the hitting. The psychology of spatial integrity recognizes body distancing and uses that distance to your advantage. The first to see the framework of physical space is to figure out any individual’s intent to harm. The gradual closing of reach is a form of intimidation, much like hitting someone when they least expect it.

As I compare this example to leveraging your thinking advantage, try to think quicker versus thinking slower. The ground you close on thinking strategies affords a more significant opportunity to discover acting without haste. As discovery on a higher plane can set you apart from others, it can also set you up for not being ready to insert yourself into an environment unprepared for you.
There are known boundaries that carry the theory behind trust and being loyal. This includes personal and professional platforms, physical, deepened values, and morals. Through it all, there are barriers we aim not to cross. However, the closer you are to someone, the trust increases.
