This article may spark some rebuttal, but I hope it can provide insight into what’s suitable for you. In many living settings, the discussion over politics and religion has been ‘taboo.’ Hands off, avoid, stay away, but to understand anything reasonably well, varied opinions are absolute and necessary. So feel free to comment, but keep it clean.
Today, I elect to give my opinion about who or what [God] is, and for me, [God] is all-knowing and infinite. Grasping and visualizing [God] as a person who has been seen with blond hair and blue eyes warrant doubt. To see [God] as a human is a stretch because it gives the notion of a human likeness to claim rather than apply to one’s superior image of perfection. This image has diminished the ‘whole’ of the IDEA of [God] by attaching a human form.
For me, I need this reflection, and I need to understand BETTER what this world is all about. For me, if I can fashion an image of [God], that portrayal would be infinite beyond nature and a total mystery that man will NEVER fathom. I believe when we talk with [God], we are talking to ourselves to remind us of how we should be and what we’re looking for in this life. As we certainly can all agree, our prayers are that discussion, as that infinite dialogue that can transcend the now and places us in the ever-after, is a worthy goal.
My intent here and with all that I share is to inspire, reflect, and create variances of opinion. My ambition in life has always been one of pursuit and void of limitations. When we set limits and refuse to ‘open up our minds,’ we set ourselves up for failure. Failure isn’t bad, but many feel that loss ends ALL purpose, but it shouldn’t. Failure is something requiring work or something that you’re not suited for that broadens the pursuit of another venture. Learn, grow, question, and research! Make your mind your own and follow your conscience.
