It is a fascinating concept that an appreciation for all things is so critical, as few take the time to acknowledge their blessings. The world is selfish because so many subscribe to easy living with no sacrifice. Many people live off others while placing material objects above others. As we move through life as it is, having less or expecting less should be the lesson, but it’s not, and will probably never be. Selling the roses of life is a mere cliché, but it is seldom reflected in appreciation. Suppose an appreciation of those things that can’t be seen over those things that can be counted, driven, or visually measured falls short of what meaningful existence means. As I have walked this past year and survived a pandemic, thoughts of gratitude have resonated each day. My fondness for seeing another day, enjoying a good movie, or participating in a stimulating discussion carries the complete package to separating what lasts forever. Having your thoughts wander into all the wrong things clouds your thinking and deepens a sense of being on this side of life. Much of what I am describing comes with age, but age isn’t enough unless maturity enters the picture.
As we move through history, those same history-makers focused on taking over and earning. They never took the time or cared enough about right over wrong. In this attempt to control and dominate, sectors of people became ‘Mind-Full’ over being ‘Mind-Ful.’ Evaluating the difference, it’s easy to determine what should be opposed to what is currently happening. Anything of measure never decreases in value and will never become outdated. I learned early in life to value what I couldn’t see by relishing the fact that my mindfulness afforded me proper awareness. Therefore, it is the little things that matter.

The terms of mindful vs. mind-full are thinking concepts to determine your direct insight or the inability to focus on priorities. To be emotionally overwhelmed is to be unproductive in all you do. As the conscious mind creates, the subconscious mind stores all information, be it good or bad. Before your bad habits can be replaced, something better must happen to birth a better thinking result.
