A common expression, but an overly complex reality, occurs when people elect to share bad experiences. From those bad experiences, I reference the bad relationships from others who perhaps share the same testimony of unhappiness but never share it with you. Why is it that these same people seek solace in talking about a love interest who is hopelessly alone, yet destined to be alone because of an obsession to draw the misery from their own pain over to you? The possibility of looking for answers to slanted, bias opinions or one-sided accounts finds its way to those who are so unhappy is beyond me. Still, it furthers the belief of ‘misery loving company.’

The psychology of human behavior and why people act out these psychotic nuances is an enigma that baffles the human psyche. Placing yourself in this bubble of conflicting emotions adds to this article’s theme when the idea of misery is more complex than you imagine because people trying to bring you down are already below you. Once you’ve done that, all is lost, that includes your attachment to self-worth. NEVER give away your power.
