The Truth About Money & Capitalism:

“The two most important requirements for major success are: (1) Being in the right place at the right time, and 2nd, doing something about it.” (Ray Kroc)

Money is the root of all evil.

Money is the ‘root of all evil,’ but it’s the obsession with money that perpetuates evil; therefore, capital is seen as a magnet that you are drawn to because of your ability to make money. The evil of anything is the collapse of right over wrong. The harm of cash is when private entities and governmental bodies refuse to relinquish the opportunities to make money possible for people of color.

As a person of color and born ‘baby-boomer,’ I was influenced by education and finding a good job, but I didn’t realize the limited income range I expected to live off the rest of my life. Now, don’t get me wrong, my pension is worthy of mention and provides comfortable living space, and all of those other things that qualify me as having been successful now link me to always sharing what I have learned.

Living the life of a ‘baby-boomer’ and now having the opportunity to look back has been an ‘eye-opening’ experience. This experience has taught me that another way to capture added wealth is to expand financially on what I currently have at my disposal. Money is the means to actively pursue the opportunity to understand what financial freedom means for my existence by not blaming the lack of real wealth on others I refer to as ‘Generational Oppressors.’ These oppressors that we all know about frown upon financial stability when that stability is only a few. One percent (1%) that I speak of and that one percent became a household word during the Obama Administration. It was and is that one percent who feel this financial entitlement and refuse to share it because of their fears and greed. It’s this one percent who would rather see you mentally shackled and financially dependent because wealth brings you undoubted independence.

During my years of living and growing, I have managed to continue learning, and what I have learned is that I can do anything that I set my mind to do. Through my perseverance, I have endured by becoming an accomplished person from that ‘baby-boomer’ era by maximizing my opportunities. Something of immeasurable integrity has brought me confidence and direction by opening up my mind to bigger and better things that will allow me to leave behind merit and provide integrity aligned with my legacy. These legitimate, living characteristics that we all possess will only lie dormant until we learn to ‘tap’ into a chance by embracing the concept of timing. Opportunity and timing are my guiding lights, a light that shines bright as long as I can stay behind the light to see everything as they are and not as I want them to be. Timing dictates an outcome that determines success and wealth. Timing is that ‘point-in-fact’ that underscores the concept of ‘Supply and Demand.’ The timing has made millionaires out of many simply because they sought out the demand and supplied that need.

I know more than ever that it is easier to ‘BUILD CHILDREN’ than it is to ‘REPAIR MEN.’ Trying to repair a man after years of doubt, shame, and parent-less beginnings is highly improbable. During the Genesis of life, those times would be the time to factor in truth, honesty, and sound working ethics. It would be these characteristics that you build to last, and the foundation that supports the ‘shell’ of the mind will function as a supremely tuned engine that works until you neglect it.
