A Lesson In Futility!

What does the term ‘tongue and cheek’ mean to you?  For me, it’s the void of real meaning as to what one is saying or writing. As a result, this trite expression is overused and of little importance. Why? Because It lacks originality and freshness, it can be misinterpreted quite frankly.

The tongue, an essential part of the mouth, can be the most lethal weapon any human being can possess. The words can speak for or against and determine body temperature. When inactive, the tongue sits quietly by until something spurs its activity, and the sounds begin to permeate the walls of the mouth and pass through the lips. What comes out can be disturbing, joyful, convincing, and even hateful. But giving these examples, the dominance of the tongue should control your thoughts, not the reverse.

Your thoughts are an action that no one else can see. It’s a quiet brain function that stirs, boils, and magnifies. Likewise, your dreams can calculate and bring about ideas or opinions produced by thinking or occurring suddenly within the mind. In short, your thoughts are a sophisticated set of thinking conditioning that governs what you do and how you elect to do it.

When misused, these two combinations can differentiate between chaos and subtlety. When your thoughts control the tongue’s use, this action will surely make trouble for you. This action becomes the absence of control, where the language heightens the emotions and worsens the conditions. So many things seem to be impossible until someone does it!
