Understanding Your Emotions

Posted on 2 minute read

It’s harder to move past complicated feelings and allow them to fade if we don’t face them and try to understand why we feel that way; therefore, you don’t have to dwell on your emotions or constantly talk about how you feel. Emotional awareness means recognizing, respecting, and accepting your feelings as they happen. The acceptance of emotions must be critical to your well-being because emotions are a part of who you are at any given moment. Trying to control your emotions requires work by first admitting the flaw in your character that you are aware of, and perhaps it’s been a concern all of your life.

The emotional output begins with something or somebody supplying feedback through input. If that input carries a negative vibration, that idea now becomes an occupant within your subconscious. Once a part of your subconscious has been tainted by this negative input that stays with you forever until you find something to replace it. A greater force of belief must occur before any difference in your thinking can happen. If your thinking changes, so will your behavior.

Emotional Baggage
If your emotional baggage is weighing you down, start unpacking.

Too many people carry emotional baggage. They bring this baggage because they know no way to unpack the contents that hold them captive. Emotional captivity is a choking kind of thinking phenomenon that cuts off any form of positivity energy. When your negative energy controls what you do and how you feel, the victim in all of this is you. Slicing into outside forces that compels you to become proactive instead of reactive sets a course and stage for completing the mental completion cycle.
