By definition, the term in the title is “an expression used to characterize a frustrating or challenging situation that a person believes cannot be changed and therefore must be accepted.”

As words all have their distinct meaning, acceptance cradles the idea of not having a choice to discover another way of doing something. Instead, acceptance is the consent to receive or undertake an offer to leave you without a choice. In a perfect world, the idea of choice would be available to everyone, but sadly, that’s not the case. For anyone to have a variance of choices, there needs to be suitable alternatives to decide. Under therapeutic conditions, a client of behavioral undertones must understand the importance of rendering healthy conditions of thought to arrive at a comfortable outcome. As the brain enters the notion of possibility, the brain of another human being must be trained to explore another way of thinking. What appears to be unchangeable on the surface should not be construed as acceptable.
When you limit possibility, you remove your ability to be optimistic. Conversely, being confident and hopeful carries a positive approach to all endeavors and challenges the ‘it is what it is theory. When given choices, the idea of possibility is around the corner.
