It’s Time

The country and the world, for that matter, have left the universe. We once construed as freedom is replaced by an evildoer who manipulates and deceives. He has stripped us naked and removed our sight by replacing these things with lies. We are naked as we bear our raw skin displaying hate and bias. We are naked as we try to hide our shame and conceal the pain and the hurt. We are naked, trying to shield ourselves from the blasphemy that spews from the mouth of a demagogue whose mission is to destroy the moral fabric of a country scorned.

So we are forced to endure and accept the beating and now the killing of those who dared to follow and carry out this madness. But sadly, we know all of this, but we’re not prepared to fight back with the exact vengeance that we’re being met with every day because we are blinded and forced to see what our oppressors want us to see, but on the other hand, they tell us what their plan is based on its structure and its timing.

Now, as we sink deeper into an abyss, we also see the darkness blinds us. We are manipulated and maneuvered in a way that takes away our strength and our discipline to overcome. This anarchy cannot happen because it’s time to rise and be counted. It’s time to rally as one can become a thousand and then millions. We are better than this, but we tend to accept conversations towards defeat and hopelessness. This isolation takes its toll by removing us from our families and thoroughly enjoying the day. However, an assessment must be made to re-establish ourselves as one dedicated to one cause that overturns this shameful display of hate.

So, grab hold and rediscover yourself. Become warriors and not victims because of any war fought; there will be casualties. Therefore, I encourage all of you to fight by remaining vigilant, staying healthy of body and mind, and continuing to search for what makes you great. Know for sure that we are made up of many branches, but only one root!
