How much of this is still true today? Blindly correct, I might add! But, unfortunately, too many even walk around blind and brainwashed with no mind of their own. A mindset that transcends all of what common sense represents places many in a category of doubt, low self-esteem, and no sense of self-worth, as just as many shuffles through life not knowing who they are and what they SHOULD represent.
Who are YOU that condones this kind of behavior that is void of any form of accurate representation? As a representative of anything, one must recognize and show up for what is right. A dedicated representative places himself in the position of others for who they speak for or on any platform. A slave mentality is worse because their thoughts and actions are brought on by bowing to others for personal gain.
The old cliche, ‘Taxation without Representation,’ is just as it seems; taxes of ungodly measure when not appropriately represented are taxes that adversely affect the less fortunate, the poor, and people of color. As many still exist under that premise, some fight as best as possible with what we have within our emotional arsenal. Be job security, financial comfort, or a mindful will; we find ways to survive and thrive. It will take that mentality to rise above the spoils of decaying land that is crippling a nation.
