Does it make sense to hunt for your mind, and if so, why is it missing? Perhaps not, but allow me to expand that possibility because hunting for your brain engages an integration of thought, word, and deed and compels you to act.
When you’re in search of your mind, you’re searching for answers. These answers can be questions you’ve asked yourself over the years or the answers we all need to deliver us from an era that is destined to be historically embarrassing relating to cultures, religions, sexuality, personal beliefs, and morality.
When your constitutional rights are promised, that’s a problem that incites a revolution demanding solidarity. Living in a ‘nation’ of hypocrites, liars, haters, and greed mongers is seriously changing the moral fiber not only in this country but of the world. One man, who is supposedly leading this country, has single-handedly changed millions’ thinking regimen. Can a mere man destroy what countless others have struggled to build? Can one man run roughshod over other men who have become pawns in a chess game? Can one man rightfully interfere with policies and protocols that reach beyond the scope of his influence? Apparently!
This nation of people is lost and ‘out of order.’ Those sad representatives who were elected have proven themselves to be unworthy time and time again. How long will this acceptance continue? How long will it take to change people’s thinking to ‘grow a pair’ by standing up to this raging tyranny throughout our land? A nation of one I have yet to see. A society whose objective is to govern justly across the board is absent.
All of those pseudo-leaders who have been around too long need to be replaced post-haste. These replacements to elect ‘fresh blood’ should not be available only to the rich but accessible to the commoner who appreciates the struggle and believes in serving their constituents by not stealing, robbing, and killing to satisfy their insatiable greed. And sadly, these accounts aren’t mere examples; they are pure facts. Power and the demand for money will soon extract the oxygen from the air of this America.
Unfortunately, this time in history will be remembered for its treachery and not its greatness. This country will be read about in history books for a learning trajectory by those who follow. But one important caveat to my other thought is whether or not anything to carry-on? What can this country and its people expect in the next 5-10 years? Who knows, but it seems that doom and blatant tyranny will be the destiny of a country that follows and practices hate and bias.
My hope for the generations that follow is that they get it right. I wish that they learn from these sordid mistakes of ‘old’ and change the course of this moving freight train before the collision destroys every meaningful aspect of life. My hope is the opportunity for my grandchildren and their children, where they can be guaranteed an experience far different than their ancestors. For this to happen, race as we know it can no longer exist, and that may require added cross-breeding, and when that accomplished, the idea of color will be no more. We will have a complete restructuring of racially defined cultures and beliefs.
So, stay in touch with your mind and your ability to think differently than others. Know what it means to be the ultimate visionary, and that quintessential optimist brings to the table hope, followed by sustainable truth. I want to feel the breath of freedom on my neck. I want to witness kinder words of encouragement aligned with pragmatic thinking engagements underscored by visual assuredness. The guarantees of life and liberty must be reborn if we survive. Know for sure that your ‘mind hunting’ must now and forever be a habit, and NOT one is passive, turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to discomfort. Be mindful of your mind. Train yourself to be thinkers in the NOW of your existence. If you don’t, who will?
