This article is about ‘Black Pride’ and the Preservation of the ‘Black Race.’ All races have the Right to own who they are in the moment and who they become in the future. If this is offensive to anyone, I extend my professional courtesy and apologize for any thoughtless comments.
One of the many unanswered questions regarding the ‘mental resilience’ among people of color is their lack of readiness to release the trappings of slavery to become one viable, self-serving race. It’s no secret that the trappings of slavery that tend to follow black generations are a continued hindrance that limits black people’s growth to achieve their power. Pictured here is an image from the movie ‘Black Panther,’ a film that depicts the strength and resilience of individuals who depend solely on themselves for survival. A rendering, if you will, depends on the importance of being self-sufficient and answering to no one. How encouraging it would be to secure our world and become our own force of nature. To live among ourselves in peace and power, bowing to no one for no reason. To become a people living and thinking on one accord as we ‘baptize’ this idea, we can be tremendous and accept this proper placement if we could only get out of our way. Is it possible? Some say that all things are possible if people want them badly enough and are willing to share the ideals that would make a nation of deserving people great.
Who can limit the success of another unless that individual allows it? Who can render an unsolicited defeat unless that individual gives up and gives in to other so-called power bases that are hell-bent on this continued takeover? This takeover would not have happened if we had fought against it even to the death, knowing that deaths would occur on both sides of the spectrum. To fight for what’s right, carrying a supreme attitude can only win and keep winning until the last pawn on the board is eliminated. Who but us can build on this reality? Who but us can stop this black genocide administered by the hands that carry the weapons and pull those triggers? How can we avoid the extinction of our black culture unless we capture the essence of our existence? If we take this attitude across the street, throughout every community, across every state, but caring first is the key that opens the door —doors that have been closed far too long. Who but us can make these changes? No one else cares —and guess what: they will NEVER care. If we can release the assumption that others care, maybe the feelings we hold so dear—feelings of betrayal over and over again —only then will we have a CHANCE!
I am saddened but NOT discouraged. I am dismayed, but NOT shocked, by the direction of this country. I am confused, but NOT demented, bewildered, or bemused. When I am weakened, my muscle memory saves me. I am crazy at times, but not out of my mind. I am doubtful, but NOT overly hesitant. In short, I am strong; you are strong because we’re all a part of that ‘Black Panther’ heritage who are born of Kings and Queens!

So, become proud again. Care for and protect your brother. Honor your bloodline. Leverage your behavior based on how you elect to think. Create your legacy. Know your history. When people show you who they are, believe them. Shine your light and don’t hide behind someone else’s view.
Don’t allow outsiders to sway your beliefs for a dollar or a photo opportunity. Mark your truth by admitting your flaws and taking action.
Remain in your lane based on your experience. Build on your abilities, not on the skills of others. Therefore, stand for something or DIE trying.
