It seems that this picture placed in cartoon form is indeed the reality that we are currently living. It also appears that the position many people take is one of a total lack of responsibility to either avoid measures that are worthy for selfish reasons or these perceived powers in government act out to proclaim their bias and hatred continually. Either way, the outcome is never in the people’s best interest. As people, what happens when we allow such substandard performance from a governmental body that cares nothing about its constituents? A difficult question to answer, but all we have is the fight we were bred by and hope that justice will prevail as it always does.
A democracy, this country’s democracy is now the ‘bleeding heart’ of the world and not in the right way. It is not to imply a fair and just country, but a democracy that is corrupt, deceitful, biased, and prejudiced. The will of the people is no longer a concern, and those powers held to nothing that serves, are left to selfishly without conscience govern this country. For the past four years, there are no policy strategies or viable plans that will effectively meet the demands of its people nor their needs to survive as we all should.
As I speak to this ‘reverse democracy,’ I intend to take an unbiased stance by suggesting what this country has become. This reverse democracy is not a proud reflection but more of a demoralizing, ill-sighted view of what I once knew this country to be. To be that proud American again would indeed be the privilege that allows me to acknowledge a course of action that will take me further along my journey of respect and promise not just for me but for all who suffer under this governmental regime. Are we lead by a demagogue who aspires to be this dictator? Perhaps! Are we so gullible that we continue to follow this misrepresentation of alleged Constitutional Value and human discord? Seemingly! As always, time will be the final call that determines this nation’s path.
