Recapturing your pride is that pride many of us have lost. Those generations that follow the baby-boomers, typically our Millennials and Generation X’ers, have lost the true meaning of sacrifice and hard work. They prefer the ideals of ‘immediate gratification’ while they assert themselves into empty mindfulness and no creativity. They tend to live in entitlement and expect everything to be given to them, developing no sense of giving back. As history is known to repeat itself, to remind kids that the days of old could never happen again and what they can do to regain those times is to alter their way of thinking. I have adopted this as my mission to inform these younger generations about their past and how their ancestors suffered by fighting, even if that meant death. Life is not a gift. Living this life in a way that develops sharp minds is the answer.

It is easy to become what you think, but if you’re never exposed to anything different, the change will never come for the better.
Our kids are a microcosm of events, events that define, along with those that ridicule, strip, and destroy. Every waking hour should be time spent on this premise of a redefinition of purpose.
With all its chaos, today’s norm can no longer be the constant, but it must become the difference. When one person tries to make that difference in someone’s life, that day stands as a monument to positive change.
