Today’s youth face enormous challenges. Unlike previous generations, our Millennials and those that follow wear an invisible ‘crown of thorns’ as seen by their parents and grandparents as survival is critical to all else. As some seek answers, few find those answers that fulfill their immediate needs. The selfish deficiency psychologically shackles their thinking and prohibits anything that ultimately affects their behavior unfavorably. By thinking with intent, they will foster pride and unselfishness. When the exposure to worthlessness occurs from one generation to the next, development should be one of structure can’t happen, and mindful chaos becomes dominant.

Our youth requires more listening and less ego, entitlement, and bravado. The stubbornness of previous generations to hear our young’s cries have deeply penetrated the moral fiber of many that only becomes worse over time. Like the mighty oak tree that stands tall and proud, our children must learn that stay of resilience. Our youth must engage in a mature state of being. They must become the answer and not the problem. If this way of thinking was adopted, the world could become better.
