When I saw this quote, it reminded me of my younger life. In those days, I wanted many things that later proved to be a waste of time. That time spent pursuing people, places, and things, proved that my regrets were greater than those wants that I couldn’t do without. The dialog presented here should tell us that exposure to an experience on any level becomes the lesson of memory. Your job is not to repeat the regrets! Therefore, those regrets of the past cannot be changed, but what needs to be changed is the new way of thinking through a problem before you act. Once you act recklessly, you are set up with another regretful episode. We all have regrets, but reliving those regrets compounds your behavior.
