The Coup Aftermath

I stand in this sea of bewilderment as I muddle through the absence of a moral compass of so many. I get the hatred, the bias, and the deepened racism, but I can’t wrap my brain around ignorance and stupidity. This magician’s trick displays a mental maneuver that introduces this ‘sleight of hand’ that keeps everyone guessing about this country’s direction in particular and the world’s path in general.

I have never known such defiance of a government with checks and balances contained therein with the answers to all situations that threaten a country and its people, but no one seems to care.

For millions of people who follow this downhill sleigh ride that is driven and fueled by insanity at its best can thrive no more. What is a commoner to do when his hands and feet are bound by the spectacle of treason, greed, and jealousy? What is a man to do when every thought is captured by indifference and manipulation, yet he is expected to smile and shuffle through life?

Well, I’m not smiling, nor am I shuffling. My pride is too great, with an even more profound sense of unquestionable integrity. Given all this turmoil wrapped in disgrace, I remain vigilant in the thinking that governs my behavior. What I feel and how I think is left strictly up to me. I am the captain of my ship and my virtual plane’s pilot to deliver me to my destination. So, stand in your defiance by refusing to break. Stand in your ability to channel all of this evil by signaling every bodily thread that mends and makes new your garment of warmth and faith. Know for sure that tomorrow can be better if you don’t fall into this burning pit of villainous fervor. If you’re wise, become wiser if you’re disciplined, and become that advisor and mentor who recognizes where help is needed. I know that there is a rainbow in every storm in my heart and all we have to do is live through that storm. The fear of death is more traumatic than dying, but don’t entertain the thought of dying before pursuing the possibility of living well and free.
