Such a profound reality compels me to elaborate. There are countless individuals prone to suggesting they are versed on many subjects and can hold your attention with selected information, but examining what was said should lead you to delve deeper into related material. The vastness of learning is unending, and any advantage afforded you added learning should be acted upon. To limit the human brain’s capability is a travesty as recognizing possibility enters the playing field of unhinged learning. According to Neil deGrasse Tyson, learning to sort through the noise to find objective truths calls for thinking like a scientist. To question a known fact is the expansion of what’s possible. Setting limits on anything is the refusal to examine who you are and where you need to be. As vast as the universe is, your thinking can be just as rewarding. To turn knowledge into wisdom is a step beyond what could be imagined.
I began to know myself better when I tried different things. Not so much a reinvention of the wheel, but searching for other ways to expand how I use my mind solely on what I already know something about. Practice always brings you closer to perfection as long as the idea of perfection doesn’t find a home and subsequently limits you to moving forward.
